Ludo Game with 2 player and 4 player mode and source code

Ludo is a classic board game that can be played with either 2 players or 4 players. Here’s how the game works for both player counts:

2-Player Ludo:

  1. Setup: Each player chooses a color (usually red or green) and sits opposite their opponent. Place the Ludo board in the center of the table. Each player gets 2 pawns of their chosen color.
  2. Objective: The objective of the game is to move your two pawns from your starting area to your home area.
  3. Gameplay: Players take turns to roll a six-sided die. The number rolled determines how many spaces a player can move their pawn forward. Pawns can only move in a forward direction along their respective colored paths.
  4. Special Rules:
    • If you roll a 6, you get another turn.
    • If you land on a space occupied by your opponent’s pawn, you send their pawn back to the starting area.
    • You can only move a pawn out of the starting area if you roll a 6.
    • Pawns can’t pass or land on spaces occupied by their own pawns.
    • You must roll the exact number to move a pawn into your home area.
  5. Winning: The first player to move both their pawns into their home area wins the game.

4-Player Ludo:

  1. Setup: In 4-player Ludo, you have four colors: red, green, yellow, and blue. Each player selects one of these colors. Place the Ludo board in the center of the table. Each player gets 4 pawns of their chosen color.
  2. Objective: The objective remains the same as in 2-player Ludo: move all four of your pawns from your starting area to your home area.
  3. Gameplay: The gameplay follows the same rules as in 2-player Ludo. Players take turns rolling the die and moving their pawns according to the number rolled.
  4. Special Rules: The special rules are the same as in 2-player Ludo, including the ability to send opponents’ pawns back to the starting area and needing to roll the exact number to move a pawn into the home area.
  5. Winning: The first player to successfully move all four of their pawns into their home area wins the game.

Ludo is a game of luck and strategy, and it can be enjoyed by players of all ages. Whether you’re playing with 2 players or 4 players, it’s a fun and competitive board game.
